Dr Mohsen Farid, PhD, has an established track record as an academic in data analytics, computational science, HCI and Information Theoretic approach to data, natural language, physical systems and measurements. Dr Farid served as a professor and department head at a number of US academic institutions with academic experience spanning over 25 years. He has also served at the UNESCO as an advisor to member countries. Dr Farid’s career involved working and consulting to industry. He worked at senior managerial as well as at consulting capacity for multinational corporations such as IBM, Microsoft, Prime and MIDOR to mention a few. Dr Farid received an “Honourable Mention” from the US Army for work on Data Mining of Breast Cancer Research.
